I’m a journalist, copy editor, and visual artist.

I was born in India and raised in six cities across the country, and I've since lived in the United States, Jerusalem, Germany, and Jordan. I’m more accustomed to change and movement than staying still, a lot of which is driven by a curiosity about the stories of people I encounter in diverse settings. My writing has been published in/on The Hindu, Atlas Obscura, New Internationalist, Climate Home News, Fodor’s Travel, The University of Chester’s Flash Magazine, and elsewhere. My paintings and photographs have been featured on The Alipore Post and exhibited in galleries across Amman, Jordan.

I’ve worked across the fields of journalism, publishing, and communications, with news outlets, international development agencies, nonprofits, small businesses, and individual clients. I have a bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, and a master’s degree in International Studies from the University of Denver’s Josef Korbel School of International Studies. Additionally, I’ve completed courses on the historical and theoretical foundations and linguistic manifestations of nationalism from the University of Muenster, Germany, as well as in art and creative writing at DU.

I currently split my time between India and Amman.
